“Crescendo,” a short film with a powerful pro-life message, will be released nationwide on Feb. 28, 2013, for a special one-night event to raise money for pregnancy centers around the country.
“We are urging everyone to join together and celebrate the incredible potential of every single human life,” said Jason Jones, founder and president of Movie to Movement, which produced “Crescendo.” Jones hopes to raise $1 million for pregnancy centers, which offer real choices to women facing unplanned pregnancies.
“Crescendo” is based on a true story of an 18th century woman whose life was changed by a series of extraordinary events in the course of a day. It was the winner of the Crystal Heart award at the 2011 Heartland Film Festival and took top honors for short film at the Hollywood Film Festival.
“This is absolutely one of the most powerful pro-life tools our movement has produced,” said Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life. His organization was heavily involved in the film project and its promotion.
